Summer Webinar Series

The mandatory Summer Webinar Series kick-starts your MBA career experience by providing you with guidance and tools that help you define your career strengths and goals. The webinars set the foundation for your career objectives, coaching conversations, and career marketing portfolio, and will be available on-demand in late May. • Webinar 1 – Accomplishments Record
  The first installment of the Summer Webinar Series, this session prompts you to reflect on your professional and personal accomplishments. Of all the career stories you could tell, those that describe your above-and-beyond performance are the most impressive. Structured accounts of your accomplishments will seed your MBA resume and cover letter while forming a catalog of stories for MBA interviews.

• Webinar 2 – MBA Career Path
  Working from a clear understanding of your accomplishments and the strengths that drove them, consider your MBA career options. Whether you’re certain of your career direction or remain undecided, clarifying a career function and industry rooted in your values and preferences and then starting a target company list will bring your best options into focus.

• Webinar 3 – MBA Resume

Producing an informative and effective one-page resume is both science and art. With a clearer understanding of how this document is used by the reader, structure your professional profile in the recruiter-tested Georgetown McDonough MBA format, smartly making your key themes available to your reader’s eye. You’ll utilize our virtual resume review system to finalize your resume for inclusion in your MBA class official resume book.
