Offers of admission are contingent upon verification of official transcripts, test score reports, and degree certificates/diplomas (if applicable). To matriculate in the MBA program, these documents must be sent to and verified by the MBA Admissions Office. Please have these documents submitted by your initial deposit deadline. If you are unable to submit them by that date, contact us and we will provide you guidance on next steps.
Please follow all instructions in each section below to determine which official documents you must submit and how to submit them. For additional guidance, watch this video on how to submit your official documents, which covers these instructions in detail, verification processing times, tips, and more.
Which official documents do I need to submit?
Log in to your Georgetown MBA application portal.
Click the “Application Status” button (left-hand side of your homepage). This will bring you to your Application Status form.
Items that are labeled “Received (Unofficial)” are the official documents that you need to submit.
For transcripts:
All transcripts, diplomas, and degree certificates applicants submit to the Georgetown MBA Admissions Office via their MBA application and email are considered unofficial and are reflected on their Application Status form as “Received (Unofficial).” Documents are only deemed official if they are physically mailed or electronically sent to the Georgetown MBA Admissions Office by the respective institution(s)*. Once received and verified, the status will be updated to “Received (Official).” Please see the next steps below to submit your official documents:
Electronic Transcripts (strongly preferred): If your institution is able to send your official transcripts electronically, please request them to do so as soon as possible. They can send them via a secure electronic delivery service, such as Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse, or via email to georgetownmba@georgetown.edu.
If sending your transcripts via an electronic delivery service, please ensure that it is being sent to the MBA Admissions Office. We will not have access to transcripts that are sent to other offices.
Please allow one to two weeks from the time your transcript is sent for your status(es) to update in your Application Status form.
If your institutions can only mail physical transcripts: Please have your official transcripts sent to the address below.
