Your Checklist
The MBA program starts well before classes begin! Review the checklist below – and check back regularly – for key deliverables that we’ll need you to complete before Opening Term starts on August 5, 2024. This list also indicates when important program information will be announced. Please note that dates may be subject to change pending approval of altered academic policies and other factors.
After Receiving Decision Letter
Submit your deposit(s) by the deposit deadline(s) indicated in your decision letter.
Send all official test scores and transcripts to the Georgetown MBA Admissions Office by your initial deposit deadline.
Submit the Incoming Student Survey with submitting your initial deposit.
Join the Admitted Student LinkedIn and WhatsApp groups to connect with your future classmates.
Claim your NetID then access your Georgetown email. (An email regarding your NetID will be sent to you within two weeks of admission. Here is a short video on how to locate your NetID.
Mark your calendar with important dates outlined in the Academic Calendar (dates are subject to change).
After Submitting Initial Deposit
Begin your MBA Career Center Job Search Course and register for the Summer Webinar Series.
Watch your Georgetown email for an invite to the Job Search Course Canvas site that houses all required deliverables as part of the Summer Welcome Webinar Series. Plan on 8-10 hours to complete the work for modules 1-3 and an additional 8-10 for modules 4-7 of the Job Search Course.*
Begin your required quantitative preparation courses (due July 23). Plan on spending at least 8 -10 hours working through the material.
Review the course waiver and transfer credit request form to test out of certain courses or to receive credit for previously completed courses (due July 19).
Start your housing search with the Georgetown MBA Housing Guide.
Request any accommodations needed.
Upload your photo for your GoCard, the official identification card of Georgetown University.
If you are an incoming Consortium student, we encourage you also to save these key dates.
*Modules 4-7 resume in July/August for Full-time MBA students preparing for internship recruiting and in January (2024) for Flex MBA students preparing for full-time job search.
