Quantitative Preparation
Quantitative skills are important to your success in the Georgetown McDonough MBA curriculum. To help ensure you have an adequate foundation in statistics, economics, accounting, finance, and Excel, we provide access to customized online preparatory material to incoming students.
We have chosen the convenient learning platform Smartly, which will work on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop. After you have submitted your deposit, you will be able to use your Georgetown University NetID email to log in to the customized Georgetown MBA Smartly system and access courses.
Required Coursework – Due by July 22, 2025
Access these courses via Smartly. We estimate you will spend at least eight to 10 hours working through this material, depending on your level of familiarity with the subject matter.

We encourage you to begin these courses as soon as you can because you are required to complete this course by July 22, 2025. You will be able to access the platform through December 2025 so that you can refresh concepts as needed throughout the summer and after you have begun our rigorous MBA curriculum.
