As a Consortium and/or Forté fellow and member, you have an exciting opportunity to participate in their annual conferences this coming May and June. To help you make the most of these events, the McDonough Career Center will provide you early access to their proprietary online Summer Career Course. Fellows should watch their Georgetown email in April for an invitation to a Canvas course, which will house all of the career preparation items. You will receive an invitation in your @georgetown.edu inbox; be sure to accept the invitation to receive all future announcements and check your @georgetown.edu email regularly.
If you are joining us as another type of fellow, please be assured that additional career conference preparation resources will also become available as you begin your MBA program. We encourage you to learn more about the Career Center’s fall events and 2026 career conferences. We look forward to supporting you as you prepare for this next step in your journey.
Join us for a drop-in virtual chat to meet with Georgetown's Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM) Fellows to answer questions about the application process, student experience, and more.
We will invite you to join McDonough career coaches, MBA admissions, and current MBA classmates, along with other McDonough community members, for a dinner to kickoff OP. Please plan your travel to arrive in time to attend an evening reception with the McDonough MBA group.
Additional details and information forthcoming. Please check this page and your email for updates.
As a Consortium fellow and/or member, you are expected to participate in Consortium's annual Orientation Program and Career Forum (affectionately called "The OP"). The OP includes professional development workshops, leadership training, and a career forum that offers access to job opportunities with leading companies. Attendance is a critical step in building your network and positioning yourself for success in the MBA program and beyond.
The McDonough Career Center looks forward to guiding you through the MBA career development process and facilitating early connections with corporate partners while at OP.
Please save the date and check this page regularly for updates on pre-OP preparation resources.
