Graduate Assistantships
Some students supplement their financing with a graduate assistantship. Each year, there are approximately 90 graduate assistantship positions at the McDonough School of Business. You may apply for these positions after you matriculate. First-year students typically earn $1,100 – $2,300 per semester for approximately five to ten hours of work per week. Students may not work more than 20 hours per week.
You may seek more than one assistantship
Positions are open to all students, including international students
Positions are posted a few weeks before Fall and Spring semester classes begin, and new positions are posted when received

Once offered a position, you must fill out the necessary graduate assistant paperwork with Georgetown University
International students who are offered positions must obtain a Social Security Number; the Office of Global Services will be available to guide students through this process.
