The MBA program starts well before classes begin! Review the checklist below – and check back regularly – for key deliverables that we’ll need you to complete before Opening Term starts on August 10*, 2026. This list also indicates when important program information will be announced. Please note that dates are subject to change.
*On Friday, August 7, there will be an International Student Orientation (all day), which is required for Full-time international students.
Submit your deposit(s) by the deposit deadline(s) indicated in your decision letter.
Submit the Incoming Student Survey with your initial deposit.
Join the Admitted Student LinkedIn and WhatsApp groups to connect with your future classmates.
Claim your NetID then access your Georgetown email. (An email regarding your NetID will be sent to you within two weeks of admission. Here is a short video on how to locate your NetID.)
Prepare to send all official test scores and transcripts to the Georgetown MBA Admissions Office by your Official Document Submission Period.
Mark your calendar with important dates outlined in the Academic Calendar (dates are subject to change).
Watch your Georgetown email for an invite to the Summer Career Course on Canvas, the site that houses all these required deliverables.
Invitations will come in late May (Full-time) or June (Flexible and Flexible Online).

Request any accommodations needed.
Upload your photo for your GoCard, the official identification card of Georgetown University.
Be on the lookout for more information about your required quantitative preparation courses that will be due before the start of the program.
Find information on course waivers and transfer credit requests in order to test out of certain courses or to receive credit for previously completed courses.
In the summer before the start of the program, the Program Office will share some required McDonough Foundations informational videos with you. Plan on spending at least 1-1.5 hours working through the video series.
Begin the immigration document request process and prepare all required documentation immediately if you require a visa.
Perfect your business English with optional online English Preparation Courses.
July 1 – Deadline to submit Immunization information
Late-July – Announcement of Program Advisors and class cohort assignments
Late-July – Deadline to submit course waiver and transfer credit request forms
Late-July – Complete all MBA quantitative preparation
Early-August – Complete the McDonough Foundations series shared by the Program Office
Early-August – Sit for approved waiver exams
August 4 (evening) - Attend Flex Orientation (FX students only)
August 5 (evening) - Attend Flex Online Orientation (FXO students only)
August 7 – MBA International Student Orientation
August 10 – Opening Term begins for Full-time, Flex, and Flex Online students
August 21 – Opening Term ends
August 22 – Tuition payment due on GU Experience
August 26 – Attend First Day of Fall Classes and Module 1 Classes
