Live in the heart of DC at 55 H Street NW - Georgetown University's newest graduate residential community. Here you can immerse yourself in the graduate Hoya experience while living, studying, and working in one of the world's most vibrant cities. Make 55 H street your home by signing a Housing Occupancy Agreement (HOA) - the graduate equivalent of a lease - for consideration in the upcoming academic year.
Choose from fully furnished studio, 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom or 4-bedroom apartments with all amenities and utilities (water, electric, internet, etc) included.
Identify the name(s) of other future residents you perfer to share an apartment with, or apply for your single bedroom to be matched with other students.
Resident Fellows (RF) assist and advise residents, handling counseling and mediation, academic support, community development, crisis response, and key administrative and staff training duties.
Enjoy a penthouse with a fitness center, study areas, contemplation and viewing rooms, plus floor lounges with communal dining and individual and group workspaces.
Free transportation is provided between 55 H st. and Georgetown University Main Campus via Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (GUTS) buses from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. with additional on-call shuttle is available to and from select downtown campus locations (111 Massachusetts parking garage and 500 First St.)
Housing at 55 H Street is offered through 9- or 12-month Housing Occupancy Agreements (HOA). Applications are accepted via the Hoya Housing Portal.
Early Accommodation Requests for 55 H Street NW?
Incoming students should email residentialliving@georgetown.edu to formally request early accommodations. Students will then be sent an application for early housing and can expect to hear back regarding a decision within about 3 business days.
Please be advised that incoming students may be able to get earlier access. However, it is dependent on availability based on the number of students who were granted internship housing over the preceding summer. Incoming students should budget for and expect to find interim housing from the start of the program to mid-August.
