Which official documents do I need to submit?

Transcripts

All transcripts, diplomas, and degree certificates applicants submit to the Georgetown MBA Admissions Office via their MBA application and email are considered unofficial and are reflected on their Application Status form as “Received (Unofficial).” Documents are only deemed official if they are physically mailed or electronically sent to the Georgetown MBA Admissions Office by the respective institution(s)*. Once received and verified, the status will be updated to “Received (Official).” Please see the next steps below to submit your official documents:

Electronic Transcripts (strongly preferred): If your institution is able to send your official transcripts electronically, this method is strongly preferred. They can send them via a secure electronic delivery service, such as Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse, or via email to georgetownmba@georgetown.edu.

If your institutions can only mail physical transcripts: Please have your official transcripts sent to the address below:

International Students: If you earned your bachelor’s degree from an institution outside of the United States, we require BOTH your official transcript and official degree certificate/diploma from that institution.

Test scores

All test score reports applicants submit to the Georgetown MBA Admissions Office via their MBA application and email are considered unofficial and are reflected on their  Application Status form as “Received (Unofficial).”

Test score reports are only official if they are released to the Georgetown MBA Admissions Office via testing organizations (e.g GMAC, Pearsonvue, ETS, etc.). Please release your official test score report(s), online through your respective testing organization(s). Once received and verified, the status will be updated to “Received (Official).”

Program/Institution Codes: For tests that require a program/institution code, please ensure that you send your official score report(s) to the appropriate code(s). If they are sent to any code(s) other than what is below, we will not have access to your official score report. For your convenience, our codes are below:

What if I released my official score report, but my test status still reads “Received (Unofficial)?”: Remember to adhere to the Official Document Submission Period specified above. If it should be verified already, please confirm the code/location to which your official score report was sent. If it was not sent to the appropriate code/location listed above, please have it resent. If it was sent to the appropriate code/location, email georgetownmba@georgetown.edu and attach your order receipt.
